Marisa Green is a movement and film artist originally from the Mississippi gulf coast near New Orleans. During her thirteen years in NYC as a professional choreographer, her work was presented both nationally and internationally by Joyce SoHo, Abrams Arts, Triskelion Arts, and Ponderosa Stolzenhagen, among others. She is currently creating work in the deep south and studying clown with her mentor, Jet Eveleth. Find her onstage in Charleston SC with Theatre 99 and Rip City doing outrageous feats of original comedy. Marisa’s first short film, TRUNK, was completed in 2026. Her feature length screenplay, a horror comedy take on the Medusa myth, is in progress.
